Stepping Stones - Celebration Memorial

Stepping stones are a beautiful remembrance to someone no longer with us. Step stones are flat and can be used on an outside pathway or garden walkway.

The stones are not always round, they can be square or triangular, as well. They come with an inspirational verse, and can utilize raised or cut-out detailing. Some stones also incorporate color.

There are stepping stones that come with LED lights powered by solar energy. A few down a walkway or around a pond would be striking.

You can plan a quiet spot through your garden or outside path where you can reflect on your loved one and revisit cherished memories; or the walkway can be in a higher traffic area where many people can see the tribute to your loved one

Inscriptions on Stepping Stones

Writing can be very little, or it can be a whole verse.

Some inscriptions that are found on stones, follow;

*Blessed are the pure in heart.

*Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us everyday.

*Faith Hope and Charity.

*Time passes, memories stay.

*To every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.
Ecc. 3 v 1

*Sunset and evening stars.

*In God's keeping, they are not gone but sleeping.

*Your spirit lives within me, forever in my heart.

*A gift for such a little while.

*A garden of beautiful memories,
Sprayed with a million tears.

*Memories are like threads of gold,
They never tarnish or grow old.

Beautiful Flower Garden

No Place For a Stepping Stone?

Not everyone has an outdoor path or a garden for a stone. The stones can be used in non-traditional ways.

I have a beautiful stepping stone that I wanted closer to where I could see it every day. I did not place it in my garden. I lean it against the railing of my entry-deck where it rests in a flower bed. I take comfort in seeing the stone every day as I enter or exit my home.

Another spot for stepping stones would be in the back yard, leading off of a patio. Or a few could be placed around the base of a tree.
